Qualifications

• A.S. Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current NYS Physical Therapy Assistant license.
• Must communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
• Ability to manage patients with different personalities.
• Current knowledge of treatment practices.

Responsibilities

• Participate in provision of physical therapy services under on-site supervision of a licensed PT.
• Treat pediatric, adult and geriatric patient populations.
• Demonstrate appropriate selection of physical therapy techniques and achieve good patient response.
• Provide accurate and timely patient records.
