Job summary

Valley Health is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to support home health services under the supervision of a physical or occupational therapist. You will contribute to an interdisciplinary team, address skilled patient needs, and document progress in electronic records from a laptop as part of daily duties.

New hires may receive relocation assistance and a sign-on bonus up to $5k. The role includes standard benefits and requires licensure in VA/ WV with AHA-BLS certification

Qualifications

Associate PTA degree required; CNA preferred.
Virginia/West Virginia licensure required at time of hire.
BLS Certification for Healthcare Provider required.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
AHA certification required before orientation.
West Virginia licensure may be required depending on area assigned.

Responsibilities

Provide PTA services in home health under supervision.
Collaborate with physical/occupational therapists and care team.
Document patient progress and maintain electronic records.
Address skilled and medically necessary patient needs with therapist-guided interventions.
Ensure licensure, documentation, and billing guidelines are followed.
