Lifepoint Rehabilitation is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (LPTA) in California to join our team at Valley Presbyterian Hospital. You will implement treatment plans, monitor patient progress, educate patients and families, and assist with discharge planning.

A CA PTA license, an Associate's degree, and BLS are required. Weekend workload of at least 16 hours per month is included, with growth opportunities and benefits.

• BLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Implements treatment plan developed by supervising therapist using modalities and seeks consultation as necessary.
• Monitors patient responses to the treatment plan and communicates progress and goal revisions to the therapist.
• Educates the patient and family/caregiver about deficits.
• Assists with discharge planning and guidance on adaptive equipment and community support programs.
