Job summary

Frostburg Rehab Center is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PRN) to support our rehabilitation program. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide direct rehab care to patients and assist in implementing individualized treatment plans.

Responsibilities include documentation, collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, and adherence to post-acute care regulations. This PRN role offers an on-site schedule and a supportive, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Maryland license/registration as PTA is required.
• Preferred 1 year in post-acute care.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel, and email communication.
• Ability to make independent decisions and work with a team.

Responsibilities

• Follow PT-guided treatment plans and document progress.
• Assist in developing and implementing individualized plans.
• Communicate with patients, families, and staff.
• Maintain safety, patient rights, and sanitation.
