Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological screenings and assessments based on records and clinical interviews.
• Collaborate with psychiatry, nursing, physicians, social workers, and others to coordinate care.
• Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans based on need and functioning.
• Make rounds in segregation or other housing areas to assess inmate adjustment and needs.
• Apply counseling techniques and crisis interventions for inmates in crisis.
• Provide timely clinical guidance during after-hours incidents and emergencies.
• Share information with the mental health team to support integrated care.
