CoreCivic seeks a Licensed Psychologist to provide mental health services at Whiteville Correctional Facility in Whiteville, TN. This full-time position delivers psychological assessment, counseling and treatment planning within an institutional setting.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, conduct rounds, respond to crises, and ensure care is integrated with psychiatry, nursing and education staff. Doctoral degree and license are required.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree required.
• Current unrestricted psychology license in state of practice.
• Two years clinical experience, including one year in a comparable position.
• Valid driver's license.
• Minimum age 18.

Responsabilités

• Conduct psychological screenings and assessments based on records and clinical interviews.
• Collaborate with psychiatry, nursing, medical and other staff to integrate patient care.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individual treatment plans based on needs.
• Make rounds in segregation or other housing areas to assess mental health needs.
• Apply counseling theories and techniques to individuals on caseload.
• Provide crisis assessment and interventions to address inmate needs.
• Offer clinical guidance during after-hours incidents and emergencies.
