Job summary

Heartline Staffing is seeking a Licensed Psychologist for a full-time, onsite role in Appleton, Minnesota. The psychologist will perform assessments, develop treatment plans, provide counseling, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a correctional/detention setting.

The position requires a Minnesota license, a doctoral degree, and at least 2 years of clinical experience, with a relocation package available. No travel is required and housing support is offered.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Current unrestricted Minnesota license to practice psychology required.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience required.
• At least 1 year of clinical experience in a comparable position required.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological screenings and assessments via record review and interviews.
• Develop and modify individual treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide psychological treatment and counseling services.
• Conduct rounds in segregation and other confined housing areas to assess needs.
• Offer crisis intervention and risk assessment during emergencies.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, nurses and social workers.
• Consult with medical, educational, chaplain, security and other staff as applicable.
• Ensure treatment activities are integrated and care follows through.
• Assess changes in mental health and escalating behaviors.
• Provide timely clinical guidance during after-hours incidents.
