Licensed Psychologist
Full-time or part-time direct hire opportunity with a non‑profit client located in San Jose, CA.
Our organization is dedicated to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. We provide psychological assessments, behavioral consultations, and clinical support within a collaborative, interdisciplinary team.
Essential Duties
- Evaluate cognitive and adaptive functioning, develop behavior support plans, and provide guidance to clients, families, and staff to promote independence and quality of life.
- Assist with psychological services, including comprehensive services for people with developmental disabilities.
- Serve as teacher/consultant to staff involved in the development and delivery of services for developmental disabilities.
- Assist in developing new programs and evaluating ongoing programs in the region.
- Perform related duties as assigned, such as conservatorship petitions, competency to stand trial evaluations, and other pertinent tasks.
Qualifications
- Active psychologist license in the state of California.
- Doctorate in Clinical or Educational Psychology.
- At least two years of experience with developmental disabilities or behavioral health.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical documentation skills.
- Knowledge of principles, methods, techniques, and materials of psychology for the developmentally disabled.
- Ability to work 8 a.m.–5 p.m. shifts Monday–Friday.
- Valid driver’s license with automobile liability insurance (or alternative transportation).
