Job summary

TURN in Fresno, CA is seeking a LPT to provide direct psychiatric tech support within our SUD-focused program. The role requires administering injections, monitoring vital signs, crisis intervention, and collaborating with psychiatrists.

The ideal candidate will hold a CA Licensed Psychiatric Technician, have a valid CA driver’s license, and be proficient with Microsoft Office and EHR systems. This full-time, on-site position includes on-call coverage and field-based services as needed.

Qualifications

• CA Licensed Psychiatric Technician required.
• Valid CA Driver’s License required.
• Experience providing mental health and/or substance use disorder services preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and EHR software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide injections, medication support, case consults, crisis intervention, and targeted case management.
• Vitals, health and wellness screenings/assessments, wellness coaching and education.
• Accurate and timely documentation as contractually required and meet minimum billable requirements for direct client services.
• Dispense and account for prescribed medication, assist psychiatrist in administering and evaluating prescribed medication and arrange lab work.
• Shift coverage including part of the on-call team.
• Provide field-based services as required by program and client need.
• Maintain confidentiality of client’s care.
• Participate in scheduled program meetings. Attend Quarterly Medication Monitoring Committee.
• Other relevant duties as assigned.
