Job summary

AvaMed Workforce, a Healthcare Staffing Agency serving California State Correctional Facilities, currently seeks Licensed Psychiatric Technicians for placement in Calipatria, CA. Openings available Part-Time or Full-Time with orientation and a flexible schedule. Location: Calipatria, CA.

Shifts include Sunday-Thursday 1:30pm-10:00pm or Saturday-Sunday 1:30pm-10:00pm. Orientation is two weeks, and flexibility is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid California BVNPT license to practice in CA.
• Must have 1 full year of experience as a Licensed Psychiatric Technician.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic level of general behavioral and psychiatric nursing care to mentally or developmentally disabled patients.
• Perform duties under Institution/Facility policies and procedures as a Temporary/Relief Psychiatric Technician.
• Support the institution's clinical team with approved care and documentation.

Position Details:(Multiple Openings)
16-40 Hours per week
Location: Calipatria, CA
Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 1:30pm-10:00pm or Saturday-Sunday 1:30pm-10:00pm

Rate: $54/hr ($2,160/week) as aTraveleror $45/hr ($1,800/week) as aLocal

• Must have a valid California Board of Vocational Nurse and Psychiatric Technician License in order to perform services in the state of California.
• Must have 1 full-year of experience as a LicensedPsychiatric Technician.

Under the direction of the Institution's designee, the Temporary Relief Psychiatric Technician shall provide services as permitted within the scope of practice for Psychiatric Technician in accordance with Institution/Facility policies and procedures. The duties of the Temporary/Relief Psychiatric Technician shall include, but are not limited to the following requirements:
a. Give a basic level of general behavioral and psychiatric nursing care to mentally or
developmentally disabled patient/youth;
