Come and join Optimum Care Counseling and Wellness Solutions, LLC. If you are residing in the US and practicing in the field of psychiatry, mental health, or related fields as a nurse practitioner, you are most welcome to apply.

Our goal at Optimum Care Counseling and Wellness Solutions is to help clients utilize their strengths to gain insight and feel more in control. We are seeking Nurse Practitioners in Mental, Behavioral Health, or Counseling fields. If you lack a license to practice in Pennsylvania, we can assist you in obtaining it and practicing under our supervision. We offer flexible hours Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, with a minimum of 15 to 20 hours per week. You will provide remote individual counseling services to children, adults, and the elderly from your home office, utilizing our electronic health records system and telehealth platform.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

• Doctorate Degree in Nursing specializing in Psychiatric nursing
• Graduate from a state-certified advanced practice program in psychiatry/mental health

Minimum Required Experience:

• 1-2 years of direct client care for psychiatric disorders
• Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly

Preferred Experience:

• Over 3 years as a psychiatric provider
• Experience in telemedicine

Other Skills:

• Delivering high-quality, client-centered care
• Proficiency with ICANotes and HIPAA standards
• Effective communication with clients, families, and team members
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Essential Duties:

• Provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management remotely
• Assess, diagnose, and treat behavioral health disorders
• Coordinate care with other team members
• Complete accurate medical records in ICANotes
• Offer counseling and develop treatment plans
• Order and review labs and diagnostic tests
• Communicate with clients' families as appropriate
• Ensure documentation compliance with regulations
• Participate in training and quality improvement activities
