Job summary

InterAgency Inc. is seeking a licensed Professional Engineer with significant pipe experience to support linear water infrastructure program management at DC Water. This role involves planning, condition assessment, renewal strategy, and technical review.

You will seal deliverables and mentor junior staff while interfacing with the client. The position requires a Civil Engineering degree, a PE license (DC licensure preferred), 6+ years of relevant experience, and willingness to travel across the

Qualifications

• PE license required; DC licensure preferred or can obtain within six months.
• 6+ years in planning/design/condition assessment of water infrastructure.
• Experience translating condition data into renewal recommendations.
• Experience preparing construction cost opinions for linear projects.
• Strong technical writing and ability to present findings.

Responsibilities

• Plan and update CIP and linear facilities plans using data and GIS.
• Develop renewal strategies and project prioritization for linear assets.
• Lead technical reviews, seal memoranda and drawings per standards.
• Provide rapid engineering support during main breaks and emergencies.
• Support proposal writing and track hours/status.
