Job summary

Schneider Geomatics is seeking a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor in North Carolina to self-perform field and office surveying tasks across boundary, ALTA, topographic, and route surveys. You will work on projects from inception to completion, using AutoCAD and Civil 3D, with GPS and Trimble equipment, interpreting drawings, and ensuring timely, accurate results.

The role requires a NC surveyor license, 3–5 years of field and office experience, and strong communication in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience required.
• Professional Land Surveyors license required in North Carolina.
• 3–5 years of Field surveying experience is required.
• 3–5 years of Office surveying experience is required.
• Minimum of three years of experience using AutoCAD.
• One year of Civil 3D experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of conventional and GPS surveying equipment and techniques.
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and utility construction plans.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Good written and oral communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Self-perform field and office surveying tasks.
• Deliver survey services meeting client agreements and quality standards.
• Involve in boundary, ALTA, topographic, route, construction, and control surveys.
• Read, interpret, and understand engineering drawings and plans.
• Operate Trimble GPS, Total Station, and related surveying equipment.
