One of our clients is seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

Part-Time

Frequency: Once per month.

Student 1: Four sessions every nine weeks.

Student 2 (Grade 4B): Four sessions every nine weeks.

Student 3 (Grade 4B): Four sessions every nine weeks.

Student 4 (Grade 5A): Four sessions every nine weeks.

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

The Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) will provide counseling and mental health support to students, helping address their social-emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs. Responsibilities may include conducting assessments, documenting progress, providing individual counseling sessions, and collaborating with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' academic and personal success.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Master's degree in Counseling or a related field from an accredited program.
• Valid Texas Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license.
• Compliance with applicable Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council (BHEC) licensing requirements.
• Knowledge of child and adolescent development, mental health, and evidence-based counseling practices.
• Two years of experience in a school setting preferred.
• Experience providing individual counseling, conducting assessments, documenting progress, and supporting students with social-emotional and behavioral needs.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
