Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling with internship and active LPC/LMHC/LCPC/LPCC/LCMHC/LMHP license.
• At least 3 years post-master’s experience in mental health services.
• Knowledge of DSM-VTR and current treatment modalities.

Responsibilities

• Provide mental health services to individuals eligible for IHS.
• Conduct individual, marital, family and group counseling for diverse age groups.
• Offer diagnostic, treatment, referral and crisis intervention per professional standards.
• Coordinate care and referrals for psychiatric evaluation or medication as needed.
• Document client records in RPMS and participate in case conferences.
• Assess complex cases under supervision and prepare action-recommendation reports.
• Maintain compliance with applicable behavioral health policies and procedures.
