Job summary

Backpack Healthcare is seeking licensed clinicians to join our Arizona remote team, delivering evidence-based behavioral health services to children, teens, young adults, and families entirely online. This part-time, remote role offers flexibility and the chance to shape a new Arizona program.

Clinicians receive a competitive hourly rate of $55 per billable hour, with monthly bonus potential, and pathways into clinical leadership as the program grows.

Qualifications

• Active Arizona license: LPC, LMFT, or LCSW.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and families — or strong interest.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Comfort with technology and virtual clinical platforms.
• Commitment to trauma-informed and culturally responsive care.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills — strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducting clinical assessments.
• Developing individualized, trauma-informed treatment plans.
• Providing individual and family therapy through secure telehealth.
• Collaborating with therapists, PMHNPs, psychiatrists, and other team members.
• Maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation.

• $55 per billable hour — LCSW, LPC, or LMFT with independent licensure
• Monthly bonus potential for eligible clinicians based on applicable productivity and performance criteria

Earn More Through Monthly Bonuses

Eligible clinicians have the opportunity to earn an additional monthly performance-based bonus on top of their regular billable compensation.

Bonus eligibility is based on applicable productivity and performance expectations, giving you another opportunity to increase your monthly earnings while being recognized for consistently providing high-quality care.

Flexibility Without the Hustle

You'll carry a target caseload of 15-22 sessions per week, providing individual and family therapy through telehealth.

Most clinicians work weekday afternoons and evenings, typically 2-9 PM, with weekend availability a plus.

You build the schedule. We support the rest.

Backpack provides the referrals and administrative infrastructure so you can spend more of your time focused on your clients — not searching for them or managing unnecessary administrative work.

What You'll Do

You'll provide compassionate, evidence-informed behavioral healthcare to children, teens, young adults, and their families.

Your work will include:

• Conducting clinical assessments
• Developing individualized, trauma-informed treatment plans
• Providing individual and family therapy through secure telehealth
• Collaborating with therapists, PMHNPs, psychiatrists, and other members of our interdisciplinary team
• Maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Building meaningful therapeutic relationships with clients and families
• Delivering culturally responsive care that recognizes each family's unique needs

What We're Looking For

You may be a great fit if you have:
