Job summary

Sanctuary Mental Health and Wellness, part of Centric Behavioral Health, is seeking a Licensed Primary Therapist to join our PHP/IOP team in Fort Lauderdale, FL. You will lead individual and group therapy, coordinate care, and guide discharge planning within a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field, is licensed or license-eligible, and demonstrates strong DSM-5-TR knowledge, crisis management, and client assessment skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or related behavioral health field.
• Licensed or license-eligible (RMHCI/LMSW/LMFT/LPC or equivalent).
• Experience with mental health populations and adults.

Responsibilities

• Conduct biopsychosocial and diagnostic intake assessments.
• Complete clinical documentation per Joint Commission/state standards.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Provide weekly individual psychotherapy using evidence-based approaches.
• Facilitate psychoeducational and process groups.
• Coordinate care with treatment team and families as appropriate.
• Coordinate discharge planning and aftercare referrals.
