Job summary

Ohio State University’s Nisonger Center is seeking a Licensed Pre-K Teacher to join the Health Sciences | Nisonger Center team in Columbus, OH. You will deliver personalized instruction in inclusive classrooms, participate in curriculum development, and monitor each child’s IEP-driven progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Advanced degree in relevant field may be desirable.
• Active Educator Licensure from Ohio Dept of Education as Early Childhood Intervention Specialist or in Early Childhood Education with supplemental endorsement in Prekindergarten Special Needs required; certification in learning & behavioral disorders preferred.
• 0 years of relevant experience required.
• Experience working with children with developmental disabilities required; current first aid, communicable diseases, & child abuse recognition certifications required or acquired within 120 days of hire; current immunizations required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized instruction to each child in inclusive classroom environments.
• Participate in development and implementation of curriculum; design and establish IEPs.
• Assess children's progress and provide feedback and progress reporting as required.
• Collaborate with school districts to meet children's educational needs.

Education
