Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Advanced degree in relevant field may be desirable.
• Active Educator Licensure from Ohio Dept of Education as Early Childhood Intervention Specialist or in Early Childhood Education with supplemental endorsement in Prekindergarten Special Needs required; certification in learning & behavioural disorders preferred.
• 0 years of relevant experience required.
• Experience working with children with developmental disabilities required; current first aid, communicable diseases, & child abuse recognition certifications required or acquired within 120 days of hire; current immunizations required.

Responsibilities

• Participates in development and implementation of curriculum; deliver personalized instruction to each child.
• Design and establish Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs) and monitor progress.
• Collaborates with Early Intervention team to support children with IEPs in a preschool setting.
