Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN) - Outpatient Clinic

A healthcare services organization in New York City is seeking a Bilingual Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their OPD (Adult Specialties) Department in Brooklyn.

About The Opportunity

• Start Date: ASAP
• Department: OPD (Adult Specialties)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week, 1 hour unpaid lunch)

Responsibilities

• Screen patients and refer them to appropriate services
• Prepare charts and ensure all lab work and reports are entered
• Document all clinical transactions in patient charts
• Assist with case management activities
• Support medical staff with procedures such as urine catheterization, slide preparation for pap smears, and handing instruments to physicians
• Perform EKGs and venipuncture on adults and pediatric patients
• Administer injections, including flu shots and immunizations
• Monitor equipment and supplies for the clinic session
• Handle patient care follow-ups and document actions
• Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• NYS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Strong assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
• Patient-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Attention to detail and highly organized
• Bilingual in English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese)

Desired Skills
