Summary

The Fayetteville VA Medical Center is seeking 2 dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Women Health Care team, operating under our Patient Care Services. As vital team members, the selected LPNs will provide essential support to healthcare providers and RNs in delivering patient care. Current Federal Employees: Please submit your most recent SF50. We will not accept an Award or LWOP SF50 for verification.

Qualifications

Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.

Basic Requirements:

• Citizenship: Must be a citizen of the United States. Noncitizens may be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens, in accordance with chapter 3 - section A - paragraph 3g.
• Education: Graduate of an approved school of practical or vocational nursing, accredited by the appropriate State agency or ACEN at the time of completion. Verification can be obtained from the State approving agency or ACEN.
• English Language Proficiency: Proficient in spoken and written English, as required by 38 U.S.C. 7402(d) - and 7407(d).
• Licensure: Full, active, current, and unrestricted licensure as an LPN in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the U.S. or District of Columbia.
