Licensed Practical Nurse - Team Lead - in the Family Birth Center. Lake Regional Health System is looking for an outgoing, professional Licensed Practical Nurse – Team lead to provide patient care with a state‑of‑the‑art hospital and network of clinics, therapy sites and pharmacies. Job Responsibilities:

• Provide safe and efficient patient care.
• Reassess, implement and document direct patient care for adults and newborns, meeting physical, psychological, social and rehabilitation needs, including discharge planning and follow‑up.
• Collaborate with physicians and other members of the health care team.
• Assist the RN with ongoing reevaluation of the care plan toward positive patient outcomes.
• Administer, document and report drug, IV procedure, and other therapeutic and diagnostic measures in a safe and accurate manner as allowed by the LPN Practice Act.
• Perform necessary functions during a crisis or emergency situation calmly and professionally.
• Adhere to aseptic technique and set up tables, instruments and supplies for vaginal deliveries and/or surgical procedures.
• Serve as scrub tech during surgical procedures.
• Participate in patient/family teaching.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Certification/Licensure: License Practical Nurse in the State of Missouri.
• Annual influenza vaccine required.
