Job summary

Arnot Health seeks a licensed practical nurse to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. The role supports department leadership and contributes to delivering high-quality, compassionate care across our campuses.

Requirements include graduation from a NYS-registered Practical Nursing program and possession of a current practical nursing license. BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire, and ACLS is required in critical care units.

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (cpr) Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire date.
• Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required in critical care units.

Physical Demands

• Appreciable physical effort required.
• Moving, lifting and assisting patients whose size and physical abilities can vary greatly.
• Some lifting, reaching and stooping.
• Required to be on feet much of the time.
