Northeast Georgia Rehabilitation Institute in Gainesville, GA, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to join a 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital focused on stroke and brain injury recovery. This role supports high‑quality, patient‑centered care for diverse rehabilitation needs.

You will provide direct patient care under RN supervision, perform assessments, administer treatments, document thoroughly, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to promote

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program.
• Current state licensure as an LPN/LVN.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• IV certification preferred or obtained within six months.
• Minimum six months of acute care or rehabilitation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Assists with patient assessments and contributes to care planning.
• Administers treatments and medications within scope of practice.
• Supports interdisciplinary care interventions focused on rehabilitation progress.
• Documents patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
• Provides care appropriate to the age and condition of the patient.
• Demonstrates strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and patient advocacy.

You'll work alongside experienced clinicians providing comprehensive rehabilitation services to help patients regain independence and improve quality of life following stroke, neurological conditions, and other complex injuries.

Additional requirements include:

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical/Vocational Nursing program
• Current state licensure as an LPN/LVN
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required
• IV Certification preferred or obtained within six months
• Minimum six months of acute care or rehabilitation experience preferred (new graduates welcome to apply)
