Responsibilities

• Provides direct and individualized nursing care to residents
• Documents care accurately and timely
• Administers medications per physician orders and monitors for adverse reactions
• Prepares incident/ accident reports and maintains confidentiality
• Maintains resident charts and ensures all forms are complete and accurate
• Assesses residents and informs families and care givers about the plan of care
• Responds to emergencies and life-threatening situations and initiates appropriate action
• Works to maintain safe and healthy working environment and follows clinical standards
