JCMG in Jefferson City, MO, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse to join the Plastic Surgery & Surgical Specialists clinic. This on-site position supports physicians and staff in patient care before, during, and after examinations, while ensuring clinic operations run smoothly.

The ideal candidate graduates from an accredited nursing program (LPN or RN) with 1 year acute care experience; BCLS certification within 90 days; and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing (LPN or RN).
• 1 year in acute care setting; preference for ambulatory care experience.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification or obtain within 90 days of employment.
• Basic computer skills are required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Specific Competencies

• Assists the physician and/or nurse to provide physical care for the patient before, during, and after examinations and procedures staying within the Missouri Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Registered Nurse (RN) Scope of Practice in the Missouri Nurse Practice Act.
• Performs routine clerical activities required for efficient operation of the ambulatory clinic.
• Assures the efficient and effective functioning of clinic processes.
• Uses facility communication systems correctly.
• Provides appropriate safety and infection control measures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education

WORK ENVIRONMENT
