Job summary

Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS) seeks an LPN to provide patient care in a correctional clinic or hospital setting in Lincoln, NE. Immediate opening with varying shifts and a starting wage with differential.

Varying shifts available, inquire at the time of interview. Starting wage $40.000/hour. Additional $3.00/hour facility differential for hours worked, plus $1.50 - $2.50 shift differential.

Requirements / Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

A current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Nebraska or authority based on the Nurse Licensure Compact to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Nebraska is required.

Other:

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. with assistance. Will complete four to eight weeks of on the job training. Must submit to background security check. Applicants accepting a job offer must pass the pre-employment medical examination and a drug test. Once at the Staff Training Academy, must successfully complete the fully paid NDCS Pre-service Training Program.
