Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for our Lung Nodule Clinic. You will provide nursing care under supervision, administer medications, and support clinic operations and patient throughput in a collaborative team environment.

Ideal candidates will have NC LPN licensure (or compact state), and pulmonary care experience is a plus. Relocation assistance is available to qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Current licensure in North Carolina as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Compact state licensure.
• Pulmonary experience a plus
• 6-minute walk-test
• Obtaining Medication authorizations
• Pending Medication refills
• Working with payer websites and/or calling over the phone
• Working with durable medical equipment (DME) companies to process DME orders
• Processing paperwork such as from DME, pharmacy, and insurances
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking the English language
• Verbal and written skills required
• Has knowledge of the age-specific physiological and psychosocial needs of the patients typically served
