Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare is seeking a licensed practical nurse to provide direct nursing services to clients in adult substance-use treatment at our Joppa inpatient program in Harford County, Maryland. The role supports detox protocols, medication administration, and collaboration with medical providers to ensure safe admissions and ongoing care.

Shifts run 7AM-7PM or 7PM-7AM; hourly rate ranges from $28 to $34 depending on experience and differential.

Qualifications

• Current, active LPN license in Maryland required.
• CPR/BLS, AED and First Aid preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial Nursing Assessment with new admissions
• Medication administration
• Knowledge and delivery of detox protocols
• Complete COWS and CIWA scales with appropriate clients per protocol
• Provide medication education to clients
• Coordinate and support Medical providers with initial assessments and medication management appointments
• Maintain medical equipment in proper working order; maintain confidentiality and proper boundaries
• Other duties as assigned

Summary:

Come join our Nursing Team in providing direct nursing services to clients in adult substance-use treatment! Located in Harford County, Maryland, our Joppa Inpatient program provides treatment paths for both men and women for substance use disorders, methamphetamine and other stimulant use, co-occurring disorders and has a methadone maintenance program for opioid addiction. Under a passionate leadership team, Pyramid Healthcare in Harford offers comprehensive behavioral healthcare for psychiatry, addiction recovery, mental disorder treatment, etc. defined by supportive environments that offer patients the strength they need to overcome life’s challenges and allow clients at all stages of recovery or rehabilitation to reclaim health and well-being.

Hourly Rate: $28 - $34/hour before differentials!

Schedule: 7AM-7PM OR 7PM-7AM

LPN Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Licensure, Education, & Experience
