Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing services in our Joppa Inpatient program located in Harford County, Maryland. This role will involve assessing new admissions, administering medication, and supporting clients recovering from substance use disorders.

With an hourly rate between $28 and $34, the position offers a chance to be part of a dedicated team committed to helping individuals reclaim their health and well-being. Candidates must hold a current LPN license in Maryland.

Qualifications

• Must have a current LPN license in the state of Maryland.
• Preferred to have current CPR/BLS and First Aid certifications.
• Experience in psychiatric or addiction treatment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial nursing assessments with new admissions.
• Administer medication to clients.
• Support medical providers with initial assessments.
• Maintain medical equipment and confidentiality.

Summary

Come join our Nursing Team in providing direct nursing services to clients in adult substance‑use treatment! Located in Harford County, Maryland, our Joppa Inpatient program provides treatment paths for both men and women for substance use disorders, methamphetamine and other stimulant use, co‑occurring disorders and has a methadone maintenance program for opioid addiction. Under a passionate leadership team, Pyramid Healthcare in Harford offers comprehensive behavioral healthcare for psychiatry, addiction recovery, mental disorder treatment, etc. defined by supportive environments that offer patients the strength they need to overcome life’s challenges and allow clients at all stages of recovery or rehabilitation to reclaim health and well-being.

Hourly Rate

$28 - $34/hour before differentials!

Schedule

7AM-7PM OR 7PM-7AM

LPN Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Complete initial Nursing Assessment with new admissions
• Medication administration
• Knowledge and delivery of detox protocols
• Complete COWS and CIWA scales with appropriate clients per protocol
• Provide medication education to clients
• Coordinate and support Medical providers with initial assessments and medication management appointments
• Maintain medical equipment in proper working order; maintain confidentiality and proper boundaries
• Other duties as assigned

Licensure, Education, & Experience

• Current, active LPN license in state of Maryland required
• Current CPR/BLS, AED and First Aid preferred
