Griffin Memorial Hospital in Norman, Oklahoma seeks Licensed Practical Nurses to join its Adult Inpatient departments. LPNs provide direct or indirect professional nursing services, including assessments, planning, interventions, and medication administration, under the supervision of RNs or physicians.

This is a full-time night shift (12 hours; rotating 6:30pm–7:00am) with a salary range of $50,500–$60,000 plus holiday pay, shift differential and benefits.

Qualifications

• LPN licensure in Oklahoma with valid permanent license or eNLC recognition.
• 2 years of practical nursing experience for LPN III.
• 1 year of experience for LPN II; as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct/indirect nursing care in hospital under supervision.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Care for patients with psychiatric illness or substance use disorders.
• Perform crisis intervention and collaborate with psychiatrists and nurses.

**About the Position**:**We are currently looking for talented Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Adult Inpatient departments.** Position is assigned responsibilities for providing direct or indirect professional nursing services in a variety of settings. This includes providing nursing assessments, planning, interventions, evaluations, health related education, case management, and execution of the medical regime including administering medications and treatments prescribed by any person authorized to prescribe by state law. **Responsibilities include:*** Providing technical direct and indirect nursing care in a hospital under the supervision or direction of a registered nurses or licensed physician.* Offering health care to patients, experiencing severe emotional disorder(s)/psychiatric illness or substance abuse.* Performing crisis intervention and works collaboratively with Psychiatrists, Therapists, and other Nurses.* Preparing medication and distributing on the unit.**Job Type/Salary:*** Posted until filled- Multiple positions available!* This is a full-time shift position. Shifts are 12 hours in duration.
