Job summary

Jefferson Hospital is seeking a Full-Time LPN to support pediatric patient care and help implement care plans in line with departmental policies. The LPN will document patient information, take vital signs, and assist physicians and nurses in direct patient care.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, graduation from an accredited nursing program, an active Georgia LPN license, and current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate incoming patients for services and document care needs.
• Record vital signs including temperature, BP, pulse, and respiration.

• Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and organized.

Job Description:

The Physician's Health Group Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) assists in the development and
implementation of patient care plans for pediatric patients in accordance with departmental
policies and procedures.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Evaluates all incoming patients for services, documents the nature of theproblem, and records current medications in the patient's medical record.
  
• Takes and records patient vital signs including temperature, blood pressure,pulse, respiration rate, height, and weight.
  
• Assists Physicians, Physicians assistants and Nurse Practitioners with directpatient care.
  
• Ensure examination rooms are clean, organized and well-stocked with necessary supplies

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited Nursing School
  
• Current LPN License in the State of Georgia
  
• Current BLS Certification.
