Premise Health is seeking a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct care at our Health Center in Pella, IA. You will work during clinic hours at two nearby sites, performing medications administration, wound care, and specimen collection under provider orders.

Requirements include an LPN license in state of practice, BLS certification, and at least three years of relevant clinical experience in ambulatory or occupational health settings. Competitive environment and team-based care await.

Qualifications

• Licensed practical nurse in state of practice required.
• Current Basic Life Support certification required.
• Three years of clinical experience in ambulatory/occupational health or ED settings preferred.
• Graduate of NLN-accredited program; Associate degree or equivalent preferred.

Schedule

RN as needed during clinic hours for 2 Nearby Sites

Clinic Hours: Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; Thu 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provides direct patient care and collaboration under the supervision of healthcare providers, and within scope of practice
• Performs and documents medical tasks to include medication administration wound care, observes reactions to treatments, and specimen collection such as urine, blood, and sputum based on provider orders
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring

• Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited program, Associate's degree (A.S.) and/or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
• Currently Licensed as a Practical or Vocational Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
• At least three years of clinical experience as LPN/LVN in an ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency department setting
