Job summary

Interim HealthCare Eastern Dakotas is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide in-home pediatric care in the Brookings, SD area. Flexible scheduling and weekly pay are offered, with on-call nurse support and comprehensive benefits.

The role requires at least six months of LPN experience, an SD LPN license, CPR certification, and adherence to background checks and drug screening. A valid driver's license with insurance is also needed.

Qualifications

• Six months’ experience in a comparable Licensed Practical Nurse job classification.
• Current South Dakota LPN license.
• CPR certification available on site.
• Two professional references required.
• Background check and drug screen completed.
• Driver’s License with current car insurance and 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Care for pediatric patients within their home.
• Examine patients, conduct assessments, document condition and report changes.
• Review, interpret, transcribe and carry out physician orders for patients.
• Administer medication, operate medical equipment and maintain a safe environment.
