Job summary

BAYADA Delaware Pediatric North Office seeks licensed practical nurses (LPN) with a passion for pediatric care to join our skilled nursing team. You’ll provide high-quality care in families' homes, following doctors’ orders and documenting assessments.

Training is provided from Day 1 with paid orientation and ongoing education. We offer paid holidays and time off, medical/dental/vision coverage, 401(k) with company match, life insurance, EAP, and scholarship opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduations for an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
• A current nursing license in good standing in the state

Pediatric Home Care - Fall Nursing Opportunities

Our BAYADA Delaware Pediatric North Office is interested in Licensed Practical Nurses ( LPN ) who have a passion for pediatric care to join our Skilled Nursing Team. We believe our clients and their families deserve the highest quality of care delivered with compassion, excellence and reliability.

• We pride ourselves on providing an excellent on boarding and training experience from Day 1.
• On your paid first day, you can expect to meet the team and we will go over your availability and discuss possible schedules that will fit your lifestyle and our client needs. You will meet with our clinical educator and schedule any training you may need or want. Lunch will be provided and some BAYADA swag!
• During your paid Orientation, you will work on some training with our clinical educator in the SIM lab. Documentation training, fit testing and ID badge will also be completed. All training is paid as well! We also provide you with refreshments.
• On your first day in the client home, you will be orientating with another BAYADA nurse to make sure you feel comfortable and it’s a good fit.

What makes private duty nursing different than home health visits:

• Traditional shifts (8’s, 10’s or 12’s)
• Hands-on care with only one client per day
• Building client relationships and watching their milestones
• Client age ranges from infant to young adult.

Compensation and Schedule:

• Pay up to $40/hour based on client care and shift
