Required are a NYS-registered Practical Nursing credential and BLS with ACLS in critical care settings. You will collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver high-quality care and maintain patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Practical Nursing Program registered by the New York State Education or by the licensing authority of another state.
• BLS required within 90 days of hire date. ACLS is required in critical care units.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient data.
• Ability to work under supervision of RN and follow plan of care.

Responsibilities

• Performs data collection in an ongoing and systematic manner focusing on physiologic, psychological, and cognitive status.
• Provides care to patients under the direction or supervision of the registered professional nurse using the plan of care.
• Recognizes change in patient status and communicates significant information promptly to an RN.
• Implements care in a knowledgeable, skillful, and continuous manner based on plan of care.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to safety policies.
