Atrium Health is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in Charlotte, NC. You will prepare patients for exams, perform basic and some advanced clinical tasks, and assist physicians with procedures under supervision.

Qualifications include completion of an accredited LPN program and current BLS certification. Excellent communication and computer skills are essential as you coordinate care and document patient information in the EMR system.

Mansioni

• Prepare and room the patient for exam by obtaining vital signs and documenting health information.
• Perform laboratory procedures using aseptic technique and infection control guidelines.
• Assist physician with procedures and surgeries as needed.
• Administer medications under physician orders, including immunizations and IV therapy within scope.
• Provide patient education and coordinate care with the health care team.
• Communicate with physicians and document patient conditions accurately and timely.
• Perform advanced clinical tasks under supervision (suturing, catheterization, EKG, etc.).
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain equipment, stocking supplies and ensuring clean, safe environments.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and care management activities.
• Demonstrate knowledge of age-specific care and growth/development considerations.
