Job summary

The Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for part-time shifts to provide high-quality resident care and mentorship to nursing staff. Starting pay is $30.38/hour with a $1,500 recruitment payment for part-time LPNs, plus weekend retention opportunities.

What You’ll Do

Flexible Scheduling Options

Evening Shift: 8-hour shifts (2 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.)

Night Shift: 10-hour shifts (8:15 p.m. - 6:15 a.m.)

1 weekend out of 3.

Weekend Package: Applicants are required to work 40 hours every two weekends, specifically on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, earn up to $4,000 in retention payments, with lodging and meals available upon request.
