Under the supervision of the RN Unit Manager or DON, a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides care as a licensed caregiver, responsible for assigned residents/patients during a shift. Nursing care includes coordination, implementation, and evaluation of the resident’s/patient’s plan of care. The LPN adheres to care standards, manages the environment for safety, and supervises nursing assistants. All duties are performed in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act.

Required Education and Experience

• Licensed in the State as an LPN
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to use necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.)
• Ability to calculate drug dosages
• Meet all health requirements imposed by law
• Effective communication with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and staff
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn company applications
