Job summary

Monarch Communities is seeking a Wellness Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care to residents with a holistic wellness focus. You will supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by Certified Nursing Assistants under the Health and Wellness Director.

The position is a part-time night shift (10:30pm–6:30am) with a $36.00–$38.00 hourly rate and an offered sign-on bonus. Prior long-term care and dementia care experience are valued, along with strong computer skills.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with current LPN license.
• At least 2 years’ experience with long-term care, assisted living, home health or hospital setting preferred.
• Experience working with residents with Alzheimer’s or other related dementias.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations and nursing practices applicable to health and wellness residents.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) with ability to learn new applications.

• An individual in this position will be required to lift or carry weight in up to 50 lbs. Intermittent physical activity includes lifting and supporting residents. The associate must use proper body mechanics.
