Job summary

Sweetwater Care in Great Falls, MT is seeking LPNs/LVNs to join a first-of-its-kind long-term ventilator and tracheostomy unit. You will provide direct resident care, monitor staff, and coordinate with physicians to ensure high-acuity respiratory patients receive exceptional care on-site.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved practical/vocational nursing program.
• Current LPN/LVN license in good standing in Montana or a compact state.
• New grads and multistate licensees welcome.

Responsibilities

• Help ensure quality care through staff monitoring, physician contact, care planning and daily resident observation.
• Provide direct resident care.
• Direct and monitor nursing assistants on the unit.
• Follow procedures for narcotic counts, pharmacy orders and restraint reduction.
• Document and report changes in condition, room changes, LOAs, admissions and discharges.
• Give and receive shift reports; transcribe and communicate physician orders.
