Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse or Medical Assistant

TriHealth is actively recruiting for a Licensed Practical Nurse or Medical Assistant to support our busy Pain Management team at the West Chester and Western Ridge locations. Travel between these locations is required. The ideal candidate will be a team player, self-motivated, organized, and adaptable. Responsibilities include rooming patients, scheduling surgeries, answering phone messages, and obtaining vital signs.

Job Overview:

This position assists physicians and/or registered nurses in providing clinical care, supervises care delivered by medical assistants, and collaborates with the healthcare team to meet patient needs. It involves implementing care plans by providing basic nursing care within the LPN scope of practice, evaluating patient responses, and documenting accurately and promptly.

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an approved nursing program (technical, professional, or vocational)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers
• Licensed Practical Nurse license (current RN licensure is also acceptable)
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
• 1-2 years of relevant experience

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and administer medications safely, interpret physician orders, and document accordingly.
• Assist with medication questions and educate patients and caregivers about medications.
• Perform technical skills following hospital policies and standards.
• Determine and order supplies needed for the nursing department.
• Participate in monthly reviews of Medication Administration Records and develop MARs for new patients.
• Collect data for nursing assessments, document observations, and communicate findings to team members.
• Follow PACE regulations related to primary care provision.
