Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid LPN license from Virginia or approved state.
• BLS Provider CPR required at hire.
• Experience in a physician office setting preferred.
• Knowledge of infection control and patient confidentiality policies.

Responsibilities

• Rooms patients and obtains vitals (BP, height, weight).
• Assists physicians and extenders with exams and procedures.
• Documents patient history and vitals in the medical record.
• Manages patient flow and schedules tests, procedures, and surgeries.
• Provides patient and family education as appropriate.
• Obtains authorizations and coordinates referrals and follow-ups.
