Job summary

Pearl Healthcare in Elk Grove Village, IL is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dedicated post‑acute care team. You will direct day-to-day nursing assistant activities, coordinate shift services, and oversee medication administration per physician orders.

The ideal candidate holds a current Illinois LPN license ( CPR preferred ), joins a facility that offers a sign‑on bonus, daily pay, medical/dental/vision, paid time off, and a supportive, rewarding work environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants. Meet with your assigned nursing staff, as well as support personnel, in planning the shift’s services, programs and activities.
• Prepare & administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Develop & maintain a good working rapport with inter‑departmental personnel, as well as other departments within the facility to ensure that nursing services and activities can be adequately maintained to meet the needs of the residents.
• Monitor your assigned personnel to ensure that they are following established safety regulations in the use of equipment and supplies.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information including protected health information.

Responsibilities for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

• Make written & oral reports/recommendations concerning the activities of the shift as required. Admit, transfer and discharge residents as required. Provide leadership to nursing personnel assigned to your unit/shift.

• Develop & maintain a good working rapport with inter‑departmental personnel, as well as other departments within the facility to ensure that nursing services and activities can be adequately maintained to meet the needs of the residents.

Rate Range: Up to $36 (Hourly)

Shifts

1st: 6:30 am - 3:00 pm

2nd: 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm

3rd: 10:30 pm - 7:00 pm
