Job summary

Pearl Healthcare in Crystal Lake, IL is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for the PT PM (3p to 11p) shift with weekends and PRN coverage. The role includes directing nursing assistants, administering medications, and coordinating care to ensure high-quality resident services.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants and plan shift services, programs, and activities.
• Provide written and oral reports/recommendations about shift activities.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Develop and maintain good working rapport with inter-departmental staff and other departments to support nursing services.
• Monitor staff to ensure adherence to safety regulations in the use of equipment and supplies.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information.

Rate Ranges:

$31.00 - $36.00 (hourly)

Responsibilities for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants. Meet with your assigned nursing staff, as well as support personnel, in planning the shift’s services, programs and activities.

• Make written & oral reports/recommendations concerning the activities of the shift as required. Admit, transfer and discharge residents as required. Provide leadership to nursing personnel assigned to your unit/shift.

• Prepare & administer medications as ordered by the physician.

• Develop & maintain a good working rapport with inter-departmental personnel, as well as other departments within the facility to ensure that nursing services and activities can be adequately maintained to meet the needs of the residents.

• Monitor your assigned personnel to ensure that they are following established safety regulations in the use of equipment and supplies.

• Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information including protected health information.

Qualifications for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Current Illinois Nursing License (Required)

• Current CPR certification (Preferred)
