Position Details

We are seeking a Part-Time Evening Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), 45 hours bi-weekly, at The Village at Utz Terrace, Hanover, PA.

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered LPN license in Pennsylvania.
• Proficient in interpersonal, communication, decision-making, and assessment skills.
• Thorough knowledge of Department of Health regulations.
• Current CPR certification.
• Supervisory skills demonstrated.
• No prior LPN experience required; new graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents per standards and physician orders.
• Maintain accurate resident records and chart progress notes.
• Provide emergency care within the skilled care center and retirement community.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following current nursing standards.
• Assist with physician visits, examinations, and chart reviews; provide direct nursing care as needed.
