Morningstar Living’s Moravian Hall Square campus in Nazareth, PA, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for a Weekend Program. The role offers a condensed schedule with a 32-hour week across Saturday, Sunday, and one mid-week shift, with a competitive $39/hour rate and eligibility for medical benefits.

You will administer medications, document care, maintain records, and collaborate with a skilled clinical team to provide resident-centered care in a well-staffed environment.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing Program.
• Current licensure by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing Examiners.
• Must maintain current CPR Certification.
• Ability to work two 12-hour shifts every Saturday and Sunday and one mid-week 8-hour shift as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Administer and record prescribed medication and perform treatments, observing residents for changes in condition.
• Perform nursing duties to meet physical, psychological, nutritional, spiritual, emotional, and social needs of residents.
• Maintain residents' records by documenting information and observations.
• Perform narcotic count per facility policy.
• Adheres to HIPAA and Elder Justice Act requirements.

Morningstar Living is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our Weekend Program at our Moravian Hall Square campus in Nazareth, PA.

This unique schedule offers 32 hours per week with eligibility for medical benefits, while providing a consistent three-day workweek.

• Saturday & Sunday: 6:30 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. (12-hour shifts)
• Thursday: 10:30 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. (8-hour shift)

This schedule is ideal for nurses who prefer a condensed workweek, offering multiple weekdays free while continuing to build meaningful relationships with residents and work alongside a collaborative clinical team.

What will I do in the role of LPN?

• Administer and record prescribed medication and perform treatments, observing residents' for changes in condition.
• Perform nursing duties and responsibilities relevant to routine nursing care required to meet the physical, psychological, nutritional, spiritual, emotional, and social needs of the residents.
• Maintain residents' records by documenting information and observations.
• Perform narcotic count per facility policy.
• Adheres to federal, state, and local guidelines and laws including but not limited to HIPAA, resident abuse, and Elder Justice Act.
• Exhibits behaviors set forth by the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct in the performance of their duties. Adheres to the Organization's Policies and Procedures regarding the Compliance Program and is timely in reporting any possible concerns.

What do I need in the role of LPN?

• Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing Program.
