Position Purpose

Working under the supervision of a licensed RN, the LPN assists with two students at WCHS with medical needs. The LPN helps maintain a safe learning environment within the classroom.

Job Summary

Provide dedicated 1:1 care in a school setting located in Whiteland, IN. This role requires a compassionate professional skilled in delivering individualized nursing support to students who require focused, one-on-one attention to thrive academically and medically throughout the school day.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 nursing care to students with specific health needs
• Monitor and manage medical conditions while at school and/or home setting
• Implement care plans effectively
• Communicate with school staff and family to ensure coordinated care
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with policies
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and daily health concerns

Qualifications

• Current and valid LPN license is required

• Comfort with managing 1:1 care in an educational environment and homebound settings when necessary
