Job summary

Hartford HealthCare in Norwalk seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct patient care under RN/Provider supervision across a network of Urgent Care offices.

The role offers collaboration with healthcare teams, documentation, and therapeutic measures to support patient goals, with opportunities across multiple sites.

CT LPN license and CPR required; prior Medical/Surgical experience is preferred; flexible shifts available.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required
• CPR certification
• Medical/Surgical office experience preferred
• Specialization and/or specific work experience may be required

• Collaborates with members of health care team to assist patients in achieving established outcomes of care
• Participates in direct patient care in order to meet individual and family health goals by: obtaining, documenting and reporting patient data related to established plan of care
• Performs therapeutic measures, under the direction of an RN or Provider, to assist in achieving established patient care outcomes.

Shift Detail: 2-12 hour shifts, 1-6 hour (split), 8-hour every other weekend

Job Summary

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, or Provider, the LPN provides quality and cost-effective direct care for patients/families within a unit, service or other primary area of practice.

This role provides coverage at 11 Urgent Care offices, as needed, bringing variety to your workday and the chance to collaborate across multiple teams and communities
