Position Summary

• Assist in providing direct quality patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Participate in patient assessment.
• Assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating the care plan.
• Attend educational programs and staff orientation for professional development.
• Develop leadership within the LPN scope of practice.
• Participate in the Service Excellence Program.

Minimum Requirements

• LPN Diploma
• Active NC LPN License or in a compact state
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Experience in medication administration from educational and clinical practice

Position Details

• Location: ECU Health Beaufort Hospital, Washington, NC
• Department: Surgical Unit (27-bed unit - intermediate and general)
• Type: Full-time (36 hours/week), night shift with rotating weekends
